IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Weather Check:
Please call us for a weather check 1 hour before your ‘Flight Departure’ time on 0800 80 16 16 or 03 442 3016 – at this time we hope to confirm your tour is going ahead.

Passenger Weights:
We are required by New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority regulations to confirm all passenger weights. If you haven’t already, please provide accurate individual dressed weights (including footware) of all passengers prior to your arrival. In the event the weight restrictions of the helicopter are exceeded we may contact you to change the time of your flight. You will also be weighed on the day of departure and if your declared weights are not accurate, additional fees may be incurred should we need to use a different or additional helicopter in order to accommodate you and your party.

Minimum numbers:
In the event we do not have the minimum numbers to operate the tour we will contact you to offer an alternative option.

What we provide:
Protective insulated overalls, helmets, goggles, gloves and boots will be supplied for adults. If you have your own waterproof ski pants and jackets then you are welcome to wear them. We have helmets and can provide non-insulated outer clothing for children, they will need to be dressed in their own warm base and mid layer clothing.

What to bring:
Wear a warm hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. You may need sunglasses for your flight but we provide goggles that fit inside the helmets when riding the snowmobiles. Of course, bring your camera’s and Go Pros. Drones are not permitted at all. A day pack and some water is handy.
